The Combined Ophthalmic Symposium is now in its fourth year under ASCRS•ASOA. We are pleased to offer outstanding education for the entire ophthalmic team. The meeting features concurrent tracks for ophthalmologists, optometrists, practice administrators, staff, nurses and technicians.
The Ophthalmologist Program will incorporate key aspects of the educational needs assessment developed from the ASCRS Clinical Survey to provide focused programming on advanced topics in anterior segment surgery.
The YES Program provides hands-on interactive training to physicians preparing to enter their careers in ophthalmic surgery. Attendees of this program will have the opportunity to work with a variety of ophthalmic surgical equipment from a broad range of manufacturers in a wet lab environment. As well as didactic lecture, panel discussions and roundtable break out sessions with the expert faculty.
The American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators (ASOA) provides in-depth information and analysis from leading experts in the field of practice management. This summer session offers ophthalmic practice administrators the opportunity to improve professional skills and practice efficiencies in key areas.
The Optometrist Program provides focused education on select hot topics in anterior segment patient care.
The track provides interactive education designed to give eyecare professionals the tools they need to advance their practices.
We are pleased to invite your organization to exhibit at the 2017 Combined Ophthalmic Symposium. This meeting provides an excellent opportunity for exhibiting companies to network with all facets of an ophthalmic practice in a relaxed and intimate setting. The venue allows for close proximity of exhibits and general sessions (within the same ballroom area), ensuring more interaction between exhibitors, attendees, and faculty during breaks. The mix of programming, exhibits, and social interaction guarantees extensive exposure to meeting attendees. We sold out in 2016.
