EyeWorld Asia-Pacific

A premier news magazine from the Asia-Pacific Association of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons (APACRS)

EyeWorld Asia-Pacific is a quarterly anterior segment ophthalmology news magazine that keeps its readers abreast of the latest developments in ophthalmology, always keeping its perspective on what is relevant to the Asia-Pacific region.

Published in collaboration with the American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) and in association with the Chinese Ophthalmological Society (COS), the Korean Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery (KSCRS) and the All Indian Ophthalmological Society (AIOS), the magazine has 4 editions—Asia-Pacific, India, China, and Korea—and is currently read by 30,000 ophthalmologists in more than 45 countries in the world.

In 2017, APACRS held the biggest and best annual meeting to date in Hangzhou, China, where we hosted 2,800 physician delegates and 500 exhibitors. Feedback on the meeting has been overwhelmingly positive, a testament to the quality of the scientific content addressing the educational needs of Asian cataract and refractive surgeons.

For the 2018 APACRS annual meeting, we are heading to the cool second city of Thailand, Chiang Mai, situated in the hilly north, away from the crowded streets and bustle of Bangkok. Chiang Mai is very well connected along international routes.

We are partnering with the Cataract and Refractive Surgery Interest Group of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists of Thailand (RCOPT) to organize this meeting. As always, our scientific committee is already planning a focused and relevant scientific program as has been our hallmark.

Join us in Chiang Mai for the 31st APACRS annual meeting!
